Terms of use
The short version: design as much as you like, order and pay on Etsy, and we print only after you approve a proof.

Using the designer
The designer is free to use. Each design is saved under a code. Please don't use automated tools to make designs in bulk; we may limit use that slows the site down for others.
Your design
You choose the place, the area and the colors. We build each tile from public map and elevation data, which can have gaps, errors or out-of-date details. The 3D view is a lighter preview; your proof shows exactly what we will print.
Orders
- You order and pay on Etsy, under Etsy's terms of use and our shop policies, which cover shipping, returns and exchanges.
- We send a proof before we print and start only once you approve it. After you approve, the tile goes into printing and can't be changed.
Map data
Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Elevation from Mapzen Terrain Tiles (SRTM, USGS 3DEP and other public sources). This site, the designer and the look of our tiles are ours.
Limits
We work to keep the site running and the data right, but we can't promise the designer is always available or that map data is free of errors.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the last change.
