The campus
University Hall, the first campus building, was finished in 1876 and stands with Villard Hall near Franklin Boulevard. The Memorial Quadrangle runs from 13th Avenue south to Knight Library, and Hayward Field, the track and field stadium, sits at the south edge. To the north, a footbridge crosses the Willamette River to Alton Baker Park and Autzen Stadium, which opened on the north bank in 1967.
