The course
The club moved here, to the edge of Beverly Hills near Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevards, in 1911. The North Course opened in 1921, and George C. Thomas Jr. reworked it with William P. Bell by 1928. Gil Hanse restored it in 2010, bringing back the barrancas, sandy ravines that drain the course. The par-3 15th played as short as 78 yards at the 2017 Walker Cup, and in 2023 the course held the first U.S. Open in Los Angeles since 1948. The South Course lies beside it.
