The course
The PGA Centenary Course lies on the Gleneagles estate in Perthshire, beside James Braid's King's and Queen's courses, which opened in 1919. It opened in 1993 as the Monarch's Course and took its present name in 2001, the centenary of the British PGA. Every tee looks out on the Ochil Hills, and lochs come into play at the par-5 2nd and 16th. It hosted the Ryder Cup in 2014 and the Solheim Cup in 2019, and the King's and Queen's courses lie beside it.
